GREETING,
As I am setting here tonight my thoughts are on the Passion of Christ. And what he went through A little over two thousands years ago for mankind. As we enter this Holy week I hope that you too will spend some time thinking about about what Christ means to you. Christ said in Luke chapter 12: 51 Do you think I have come to bring peace to the earth? No , I have come to divide people against each other ! NLT . There has never been anyone like him nor will there ever be. There has been wars fought over him and nation's divided over who he is NLT. People have tried to make him in to what they wanted , they have twisted his words , went against what he stands for , molded Him into there religious beliefs . Man has been trying from the begining to bring him down to thier level . Jesus warned us about the leaven of the Pharisees and Herod in Mark 8: 15 . He asked his disciples one day as they where walking to Caesarea Philippi ,Who do people say I am , A lot of folks today are still missing who he is. I think Luke said it best in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else ! God has given no name under heaven by which we must be saved " NLT FOR GOD LOVE THE WORLD SO MUCH THAT HE GAVE HIS ONE AND ONLY SON, SO THAT EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. John 3:16 NLT That is why he endured the cross . It was for me ,it was for you , it was so that know one would have to perish , that know one would have to face death with out him . He came to save the lost, HE DIED FOR OUR SINS. He suffer on the cross , he payed our debt , He died so that we could have life. My prayer is that you , if you don't know him , would call on his name . Spend some time with him this week, this week is not about the easter bunny, but about a savior,that bridged the gap from a fallen mankind to a Holy God. My prayer is that you would come to know how much that he loves you and want to have a relationship with you. HE will never have to endure the cross again, the debt has been payed in full!! PRAYER
Greeting,
I trust that you where able to spend some time with the Lord today in prayer. Prayer is an awesome way to reach the heart of the lord. I think the Lord for all the prayers that have gone up on my behalf over the years. They are the reason that I am still standing . We all need the prayers of the saints. James 5:16 Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. NLT .We ALL NEED PRAYER!!! AMEN . I think one way satan robs us is through our prayer life. He wants to keep us from kneeling before the Lord because he knows the power of prayer. Prayer changes lives, through prayer we have seen the sick healed, marriage's healed. Prayer moves nations, breaks down strong holds, delivers the oppressed .Prayer along with faith can move mountains in your life. But when you ask Him , be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. There loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do. James 1:6-8 NLT , When we pray we have to make sure that our motives are pure. Gods takes care of our needs not our wants. Yet you don't have what you want because you don't ask God for it. And even when you ask, you don't get it because your motives are wrong_ you want only what will give you pleasure. James 4:3 NLT The Apostles when they re turned to Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives the bible said they where constantly united in prayer . ACTS 1;14 . They knew the importantance of holding each other up in prayer, we need to learn from them. I hope that we all would spend more time on our knees before God in intercession and not give up until we had and answer . I know that our churches would change and the spirit would start to move and revival would come .I believe in my spirit that we need to be in prayer more now than in anytime in history. I feel such an urgency in preaching to the lost , I know that no man knows the hour of the coming of the Lord but we can look at the signs and know that the time is near. We need the prayers of the saints going up for the lost and for more spirit filled preachers to proclaim the gospel to the lost and dying in this world. We need to support and pray for our missionaries . Pray for divine protections for them and thier families. And pray for each other . AMEN!!! God Bless and keep looking up He is coming soon.

Happy New Year,
I hope you have started your New Year with renewed comittment to the Lord, 2008 is behind us, I hope it was a good year for you but for many it may have been a difficult year; But now we have a new year and it can be a new start with our lives, many have made New Year resolutions and offten we don't stick to them .I am told that offten they don't last but a few months, they say that by march the gyms are back to normal. Sadly our comittment to Christ sometimes is the same way. We have good intention , we want to stay comitted, but over a period of time it becomes easy to loose our zeal for the Lord. Offten it is not in the big things that get us but the constent drip,drip of everyday life that pulls us away from Our relationship with the Lord. Paul told Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:6 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gilf of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. NIV : We are to keep faning that fire that is in us, put there by the Holy Spirit. You may ask how do we do that? by spending time with the Lord everyday in prayer, by reading his word, and by staying in fellowship with our church, and spending time with other christians. There are no Lone Rangers in our walk with the Lord. We need fellowship with other christians , we need there encouragement when we are down , we need thier prayer when we can't pray for ourselves. We need one another. THAT is why the Lord spend so much time on teaching us about love and Paul wrote in 1 Corninthians chapter 13 verse 4 Love is patient , love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. it is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easy angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.NIV ; We need one another. This New Year gives all of us an opportunity to start our walk with the lord refreshed, revived, and excited. I believe that 2009 will be a year of great harvest. I don't know of a church that does not need excited ,comitted christian to support the ministries that go out of our churchs. THIS could be the year that we take back our community for the Lord. Remember that it is not in our we start the race but how we finish the race. Let 2009 be the year we turn the world up side down for the Lord!!! SO get involve ,Let the Holy Spirit direct you , fill you , and help keep you on the narrow way . AMEN , Keep looking up he is coming soon.

"Christ", the reason for the season.
GREETING;
As we are entering into the Christmas season I pray that we are entering in with a greatfull heart. I am greatfull for the year that the Lord has given me and my family and I hope you can say the same . I know that Christmas can be a sad time for those that may have lost a love one over the course of the year. My prayers and my heart goes out to you. Cathy and .I understand all to well what that means.This year I loss a step father in law who was a very dear man and in years passed we loss a son. It is very difficult to get in to the Christmas spirit with a grieving heart as we miss our love ones. But I know that if they died with the Lord we will see them again and I do look forward to that as well as I know that many of you do. I remember the first year that Daniel was killed I thought about him spending Christmas with the Lord and that how he must of felt as Heaven was rejoicing over the birth of Christ. I don't think we can come close to comprehend how beautifull Heaven is . Grace ,Paul knew about Grace when he had prayed on three diffrent times for the Lord to take away the thorn in the flesh, But God said my Grace is sufficiency for you. Christ is the only one that can mend a broken heart if you are a child of the Lord's fall on Him let Him help you to heal ,He is the only one that can .I know that there are suport groups out there that can help also we have family members to help,but they can't take away the hurt only Christ can do that. Psalm 46 has allways been a comfort to me, in verse one it states that God is my refuge and my strengh always ready to help in times of trouble.I know that when Daniel died I tried to carry all the pain myself .I thought that thats what it ment to being a strong christian.But the Lord kept telling me to stand still . But when you are hurting that's hard to do.In verse ten he said , stand still and know that I am GOD.the only way you are going to be able to with stand the hurt is to stand still and realize that you can't make it alone and that the Lord is our refuge and that is where we find rest for our weary soul.I believe that the Lord is speaking to some one because this is not what I intended to write about . If I can help you by sharing how the Lord ministerd to me, are if I can pray for you let me know.In the Magnificat: Mary said Oh , how my soul praises the lord. How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior! NLT How could she know how blessd she was for God chose her to give birth to the Savior for all man kind. Don't let grief or problems or anything else stop you from being able to worship the King of Kings the Lord of Lords this Christmas. It is not in how much we recieve or in how much we buy, that can bring us joy , But in knowing the child that was born in a stable as our savior.The angels told the shepherds in the field that"Don't be afraid !"he said."I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.The Savior- yes ,the Messiah, the Lord-has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! Luke 2:10-11 NLT . So let your heart rejoice , let your spirit sing out and share your faith with someone this Christmas. God Bless you and your family .Oh I told you that our family lost Jimmy this year and Liz ,Cathy's mother is fighing cancer ,"WE thank everyone for prayers for Liz"But the Lord blessed us with a new family member and this will be Will Allan's first Christmas, he loves to look at the lights but his big sister this year getting in to Christmas, and to be able to see Christmas through the eyes of a child is a great joy!!! Choose Life
Greeting;
I hope that you are able to get out and enjoy the fall colors .This is my favorite time of the year. Here in Patrick co we are blessed to live where each year the Lord puts on a great show of colors. I look out at the mountain and cannot but wonder how anyone can said there is no God. In Romans chapter one and verse twenty tell us that we have no excuse not to know that there is a God just by looking at everything He has created . But that is why God lets us have freewill we can choose to believe what ever we want to. I am so greatfull that God's Holy Spirit is still calling people to him. And can make the choice to believe or not. Some had rather believe a lie than the truth . They think that if they believe that there is no God then they will not be held acountable to their sins, but it does not work that way ,the bible is very clear about this . That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father Philippians 2:10-11 NLT .I am so thankful that I bowed on this side and did not wait when the Holy Spirit call me. Thank God for His mercy and His grace . Don't wait until it is to late to acknowledge Christ. Also as a nation we have turn our back on God and still think that He will continue to bless our nation, this year I think we are witnessing one of the most important election of our time. I believe that the very soul of our nation hang's in the balance. the issue is not the economy, are the promises that the candidates or making about taking care of us ,and all that they are going to give us . This election is much more than that. This election is about life, the life of the unborn child, as a church we have tried to sweep it under the rug, but the issue will not go away.So many christians this year will go into the voting booth and vote for their pocket book instead of life for the unborn and then we expect God to answer our prayer. I once thought that christians where just not informed on the issue of abortion , but now I think many choose not to be informed so they want have to answer for their lack of support for the unborn children. I don't see how anyone claiming to be a christian could support that horrible procedure to kill an unborn child. But many do , they are able to separate their faith from thier vote. But just like the unbeliever that thinks he will get by God , many christians think the same thing. We serve a Holy God and he will not let the blood of the innocent go with out judgement. The church needs to do more for these mothers that think they may not have a choice, instead of condemning them we should be sharing the love of Christ with them and help them choose life for their child. And those who have had an abortion , let them know that there is healing for them and forgiveness from Christ . We don't have to pray about which candidate to vote for one stands for life , one stands for death. Oh if we are really concerned for our nation then we should do what the word of God tells us to do. Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land . 2 Chronicles 7:14. Child of God if there has ever been a time for us to pray for our nation it is now. Let us agree together and pray in one mind and stand in the gap for the sins for this once great nation for God , That we don't get the leader we deserve but the one we need. Halleluiah
Hallelujah ;
We heard people use the word hallelujah ,it is used to express praise or thanksgiving to the Lord.How exciting it is to be a child of the Lord's and be able to break out in praise for his goodness and mercy.When I stand in the pulpit and I feel his presence around me I cannot help but to break out in worship. As christians we should always be able to worship God , even when we have had a bad day and don't feel like it.We have so much to be thankful for, but so often the only thing God gets from us is our complaints . Job ; when he found out that he had loss everthing he had including is children Job 1:20 At this, Job got up tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship. NIV . You might say how could he do that after such a bad day . Job knew that no matter what he was going through God was right there with him , And he knew no matter what God was not going to leave him . Nothing can separate us from the love of God. Paul knew this that is how he could face the trials in his life .Read Romans 8:31-39. That is how Paul and Silas could worship even as they were beaten and thrown into prison .Acts 16 :22-25. And when they broke out into worship there in the jail it led others to the Lord . Our God is alive and we should worship Him like He is. I love to be around christians that worship with all their heart . I love lively worship, How can you have Christ in your heart and not get excited? I have heard folks say we have to have orderly services and that we should not get emotional in our worship service. I would agree that there should be some order but not to the point that we suppress the spirit , if Christ is the head of the church I think it is time for us to get out of the way and let him start leading it. How can you have such an awesome God and not break out in worship? HOW can you have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and not let it rise up in you in worship? Read Psalm 149-AND 150 AND TELL ME THAT WE ARE NOT TO WORSHIP ARE GET EXCITED!!!! People are turning to all kinds of cults and witch craft because they are looking for something alive , many are looking for anwers for problems in thier lives,instead of looking for those anwers in the mainline church they are turning to the things of the devil. Why, because they don"t see any life in the church anymore . There are no signs and wonders in the church . Jesus said in Mark 16:17 and these signs will accomany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; Most christians setting in the church today don"t even believe that there are demons much less be able to cast one out. My prayer is that you allow the Holy Spirit to rise up in you and that you start worshiping God in your life and never allow religion or anyone stop you from worshiping in freedom and in truth. Satan wants the church dead and religious and led of man because he knows the power that can be unlease if Gods people start to worship and pray for revival and start to hunger for more of God . If my people who are called by my name ,will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from wicked ways, then I will heard from Heaven and will forgive thier sins and heal thier land. 2 Chronicles 6:14 NIV This is what satan don't want you to know . SO the next time you heard someone say HALLELUJAH join in and get excited in the goodness and mercy of the lord. Let your cup run over .Break out of the rut and allow God to get real in your life. Read Psalm 149-AND 150 AND TELL ME THAT WE ARE NOT TO WORSHIP ARE GET EXCITED!!!! People are turning to all kinds of cults and witch craft because they are looking for something alive , many are looking for anwers for problems in thier lives,instead of looking for those anwers in the mainline church they are turning to the things of the devil. Why, because they don"t see any life in the church anymore . There are no signs and wonders in the church . Jesus said in Mark 16:17 and these signs will accomany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; Most christians setting in the church today don"t even believe that there are demons much less be able to cast one out. My prayer is that you allow the Holy Spirit to rise up in you and that you start worshiping God in your life and never allow religion or anyone stop you from worshiping in freedom and in truth. Satan wants the church dead and religious and led of man because he knows the power that can be unlease if Gods people start to worship and pray for revival and start to hunger for more of God . If my people who are called by my name ,will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from wicked ways, then I will heard from Heaven and will forgive thier sins and heal thier land. 2 Chronicles 6:14 NIV This is what satan don't want you to know . SO the next time you heard someone say HALLELUJAH join in and get excited in the goodness and mercy of the lord. Let your cup run over .Break out of the rut and allow God to get real in your life. We need revival
Greeting ,
I hope you had a great labor day weekend. It is hard to believe that summer is officially over, time waits on no one. I heard someone say that one thing that money cannot buy is time, I would agree with that but there is another thing that money can't buy and that is salvation. Salvation is free to anyone who calls on the name of Christ. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. Acts 4: 12 NIV When you think about that, that is truly awesome ; ALL we have to do to be save is cry out to Christ. The bible said in Romans 10:13 for Everone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."NIV " With that said how can so many people be confuse about how to be saved? I heard that a recent poll taken said that over twenty per cent of people setting in our church today think that there is more than one way into heaven. That they can get in on good works or just being a good person. That is a lie right out of hell . How can so many people setting in our church today not heard the truth? One reason is that a lot of pastor have given up on salvation, they are more concerned about keeping there congregation inside the church rather than sending them outside the church to the harvest. Most of the church today operates in the natural rather than in the supernatural. We know longer see signs and wonders in our church today. We are satisfied with the church the way it is, not expecting anything an not getting anything ,but I know that Christ is not happy with a luke warm church. Christ said in Revelation 3:15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So because you are neither hot nor cold- I am about to spit you out of my mouth. I all so know that Christ is raising up a church today that is hungry and thirsty for his Holy Spirit . Christains that keep praying for the out pouring of the Spirit , that are begining to use the gifts of the Holy Spirit to edify the church. The unchurched are watching the church today to see if there is life , we need to be praying and seeking the face of God for our church today ,for God to stir the church ,to put life back into it, to get it out of the hands of men and back into the hands of Christ.WE NEED REVIVAL! But the only way it will come is if there are enough christians who are hungry and have such a burden for the loss that they will keep praying and will not stop . If you read this and think that you can get to heaven an bypass Christ here is what he said in John 10 :9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out , and find pasture. Friend there is only one way to heaven ,only one way to be saved . That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,you will be saved. ROMANS10: 9 NIV.
