Greetings,
As I sit here tonight in a motel , I was thinking about the service we had at church yesterday. We ended the service in prayer.
We were praying for our country and the church , not just our church but for the Bride of Christ.
We prayed in faith . You might say what has faith got to do with prayer? Everthing! As a child of God when we pray we have to have faith in God that he not only hears our prayers but answers them in his own time, not our time but his time. I think a lot of our prayers don't get off the floor because of lack of faith.
Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Hebrew 11:1 NLV . As a church today, for one thing we don't pray enough and when we do pray we don't always have confidence in the Lord that he will answer. I know that there are times when our faith is weak; that is the times we need to get as close to the lord as we can and we do that by getting in to his word. That is where we draw our strenght from is his word.
That is one reason the church is weak today in our country is the lack of faith.Lack of faith hinders what Christ can do in our church. And without the power of the Holy Spirit working in our church we can't have church, we might have a meeting but we won't have church.
When Jesus returned to his hometown in Nazareth the bible said he could only do a few miracles there because of there unbelief. Matthew 13:58 . Unbelief can stop a move of God in our churches and our lives. As a child of God we need to pray for more faith in our lives ; stay in the word and live a sanctified life.Remember James said that the earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. James 5:16 NLT . Getting back to our services yesterday we ending in prayer for revival in our land and our church and I know that God will and does answer our prayers of faith . GET EXCITED ABOUT CHRIST!
Greetings,
All praise to God, the Father of ourLord Jesus Christ.It is by his great mercy that we have been born again , because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation. 1 Peter 1:3 NLT . ALLELULA ,I have been born again.I hope that you can say that today. That is why I can praise Him because I know Him. W e should never feel like we are made to worship Christ , we should break out in worship every time we come into His presents.We are children of the MOST HIGH GOD,it does not get any better than that Amen. As a pastor sometimes I see people struggle in their worship because they want let go of themselves.They want to stay in control,when we worship Christ He has to be in control not us.Some of the best services I have been in , is when the Holy Spirit took over and people got out of the way.Now we live in great expectation. That is an awesome statement that Peter has made. Do you remember when you were a child and how excited you would get before Christmas, you were excited because you were expecting something. We need to be that excited everytime we enter into Gods Tabernacle , expecting a move of the Holy Spirit in our services. We should expect miracles,we should expect healings , we should expect deliverance, we should expect something. But to often we come into the church expecting nothing and getting nothing.We just go through the motions.Can you imagine our that makes God feel when we have loss our excitment and we are just going through the motions. I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot or cold.I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! REV. 3:15-16 NLT. So many of our churches today have become luke warm, they have become comfortable and they have no power nor do they pray for the power of God back into their services.They are satisfied and that is a dangerous place to be.It does not have to be this way we can do something about the state of our church today, we can pray and seek the face of GOD.
Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore thier land. 2Chronicles:7-14 NLT . Pray for the fire of revival to fall on our churches today. Amen, remember keep looking up He is coming back.God Bless

THE POWER OF PRAYER
Greeting in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
I trust you had a great week in the Lord and started this week off in prayer.I heard and old preacher say one time that that when you went to bed at night put your shoes far enough under the bed that you would have to get on your knees to get them out and while you where there pray.As a child of God we need to start each day in prayer pleading the Blood of Christ over our house hold.David said in Psalm 34:4 I prayed to the Lord ,and he answered me.
He freed me from my fears.NLT
I thank God everyday for his blessing and for the power of prayer. Some times as a child of God I think we forget what power that exist in prayer. Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. James :5-16 NLT
If you have fears in your life Pray,If you have trouble Pray, IF you are sick Pray and when you pray believe . Believe as David did that God hears your prayers . Believe that all things are possible with God . I have seen in my life what prayer can do . There have been times in my life that I have been hurting so bad that I could not pray for my self , that is why we need to hold each other up in prayer . When a child of God is on there knees that when we are the strongest and that is when satan starts to tremble because he knows what prayer can accomplist.
Here at Mayo we KNOW the power of prayer , we gather around the Altar of GOD each thursday night calling out each name on our prayer list in prayer, we KNOW that God can heal, we have seen Him change lives,we have seen Him save the loss.
If you have prayer needs let me know . Remember you have not because you ask not. James 4:2 . As a child of God you need to develop a srong prayer life so that when the emeny comes you will not fear and the storm arises you will over come.God want to hear from you ,REMEMBER that he loved you so much that he gave his only Son that you would have eternal life. Fan the fames
I greet you in the name of the lord,
We here at Mayo are excited about our new web site and can't wait to see how god is going to use it. Send your prayer request and also pray for our church. God is raising up a powerful church for the time we are living in and pouring out his spirit on his people that are ready for it.
